Members of OHAAA are encouraged to become involved and run for open positions on the OHAAA Board. Positions require a 1 or 2 year commitment except the position of President-Elect, which is a 3-year commitment. This commitment includes attendance at monthly OHAAA Executive Board meetings, planning for each year’s conference, preparing the OHAAA newsletters and content for the web site, and response to the needs to constituents.
Members of OHAAA are also encouraged to submit proposals to present at the annual conference, volunteer to assist with the conference, actively participate on the OHAAA listserv, and to communicate with the Executive Board members regarding the needs and issues impacting advising in the State of Ohio.
